Moonwalker

Moonwalker is Khymeia's revolutionary technology, activated by the patient's central nervous system, which exploits the residual functional capacities to allow free 360° walking, including diagonally, laterally and backwards while remaining still at the center of the platform. The patient, harnessed for total safety and possibly relieved of his or her weight, is stimulated with immersive virtual reality, augmented reality and sensorial stimuli for an unprecedented combined motor, cognitive, postural and cardiorespiratory rehabilitation.

Moonwalker is the revolutionary system by Khymeia that, thanks to immersive virtual reality and the 360º omnidirectional platform activated by the central nervous system of the Patient, synergistically combines cognitive rehabilitation with motor, postural and cardiorespiratory rehabilitation. Equipped with weight relief and a wide set of sensors, it offers the opportunity for the first time to fully exploit the neuroplasticity and functional reserve of the Patient to allow rehabilitation approaches that were not practicable until now.
